Alison Jane, our journalist founder wanted to create an unashamedly glamorous, intelligent culture magazine for the discerning, intelligent reader who yearns to be captivated and entertained whilst also discovering ways to slow down, watch an unforgettable film or drama, read a novel, cook and support a clever circular world from the arts to food and fashion.  Our readers and audience are educated, smart, aspirational, authentic and interested in being part of our magazine community and inspirational new live and recorded culture show.

Our passion is for authentic journalism, great storytelling and the ability to write and broadcast to a global audience. Alison Jane Reid, our founder and editor has a twenty-year track record on national newspapers and colour supplements, including a decade at The Times Magazine as a feature writer interviewing icons and national treasures.

She is renowned for her rare ability to draw her interview subjects out and reveal what really makes them tick from Sir David Attenborough to Sir Roger Moore, Colin Morgan, the Stars of Downton Abbey, John Simpson,  Iman,  Brian May,  Naomi Watts and Rose Byrne.   AJ’s other passions are writing about fashion, collecting sumptuous junk and fripperies and championing the slow, sustainable fashion movement. AJ also loves writing about organic and local food and reinventing favourite recipes for decadent, guilt-free delicious,  real food cooking.
